Why do you feel you belong here?
    God has called my family into camping ministry. Over the last 6-8 months we applied all over the nation for jobs in camping ministry and Camp Pinerock was one of the places that we interviewed at. After seeking wise counsel and much prayer we felt a real peace about Pinerock and felt that God was telling us that Pinerock was the next step for us.  
       
What is your testimony?
      I grew up the eldest son of a pastor in central Michigan. I went to a Christian high school and have gone to church all my life. When I went to a secular college after high school I was forced to make my faith my own and really find out what I believed and why I believed it. College was a huge time of growth and stretching in my life. In college I felt God calling me to youth ministry in the future but I had no idea what that meant. After doing an internship in youth ministry I ended up at Bair Lake Bible Camp in southwest Michigan. Through the discipleship program at Bair Lake, God clarified His call in my life to youth ministry in the camping setting. God continues to be faithful and good in my life and I will continue to seek and follow Him wherever he calls me.
